Toronto, ecas now updated with oath schedule but no location.Still awaiting for invitation in the mail.

Sorry...what do you mean with "ecas now updated with oath schedule"? I thought the last step would have been DM. Is there another status after that? OMG, it will never end!

I am thinking to write to my MP. Does anyone had any benefits from doing it, or it's just another 15 minutes of my life wasted on trying to get an answer?

DM usually means your file has been completely reviewed. Next will be waiting for Oath schedule. The wait usually between 1 to 3 months since DM until Oath ceremony invitation sent out to you. ECAS will update when CIC sends out the Oath invitation and last update will be when you become Canadian citizen.

Congratulations I have same timeline but still waiting for oath invitation. Dm since November.

Yeah, this is the same thing that happened to everyone I know: DM and oath invitation after a couple of days. In my case, I moved to DM on September 2018, my partner in November 2018....and we are still in DM.
Man, that's so frustrating!

Did my test and interview in the Surrey office.

I called CIC today again and the response I got was that my background has been completed and that since i have written and passed the test the new step was to be invited for the oath ceremony.

The Agent said since its more than 12 months I applied, she will be sending a note to the Local office in surrey to remind them, if i dont get anything with a month, I should call back!

Well, at least they told you "a month". The office I talked to was more in the "Two months" mindset.
