Hi
We submitted our application in January, and have also received SA.
I fear that I might have answered one or two questions incorrect on my IMM5669E.
I answered no to all questions under section 6, but no I fear that i might have made misrepresentation...
Some years back when my spouse and I started dating, I was in Canada on a visitor VISA, while in Canada I Applied and was denied a study permit and also a work VISA, I did get one extension on my Visitor VISA, but finally I also got denied an extension to a visitor VISA, and left Canada before 90 days after.
So I never got deported or anything, we have lived in Europe since, but been back in Canada 1-2 times every year for periods up to 2 months, never had any trouble coming back in.
My worry is with this two questions:
6d. Been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial Nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other Country?
I did not mean to answer this questions wrong or falsely, but at the time I did not think that the study permit application nor the work permit was listed in question 6d, that is why I originally answered no to the question. Now I understand that both is under the temporary resident visa, also I was thinking that CIC would read this from my file history.
6e. Been refused admission to, or ordered to leave, Canada or any other country
I was denied restoration of visitor status, and left Canada shortly after. I was not deported or removed from canada.
Can/should I resubmit a new IMM5669E form to London ,or email them and explanation regarding this.
- or should I hold my horses until I hear from London.
What should I do?
Thanks
