I received my GCMS notes, stating

Eligibility : Passed
Security :
HIRV :
Criminality : Passed
Org Crime :
Medicals : Passed
Misrepresentation :
Other reqs:
Final :

My status on my profile is as follows,

Application status : We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility : We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Medical : Passed
Review of additional documents : We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will let you know if this changes.
Biometrics : We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check : We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision : Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I was asked for certain additional documents in August 2017, which I submitted in August 2017 (before the date required). These included details of my old passports, copy of letter of UK visa refusal (I was refused a visit visa to UK in Jan 2017 - I had clearly stated this in my application) and whether I had ever applied for a US visa (which I never have). I never received any further requests for additional documents after this.

Also important to note is that I had informed Canadian Immigration that I was expecting a new addition to the family by November 2017. My baby arrived this month and I am processing her paperwork (birth certificates, ID card, passport and visa as I reside in Dubai and need a residence visa here).

My AOR is 28-Feb-2018 and I am worried that my application is stuck. I understand that even if I do get an approval, I shall have to land before my medical expires (which is in early March 2018).

Can someone please help me out by telling me what my status is and what seems to be the delay.

I'm in the exact same scenario..

I submitted my new-born details and my medical status changed from "passed" to "under review"

Still waiting for more than a month now for an update.

2nd ADR 13 Nov 2017 - updated Schedule A Online for self

Last week I went and got my new-born medical done as I was unsure when I will receive the request for newborn medical.

ADR received on 13 Oct noted that instructions will be given for medical but nothing was received in my CIC account.

I am going to order the notes now and will see the status.

I've sent in a CSE but no response as of yet.

Were you informed that your medicals have been extended or was it noted in your notes?

Mine are due to expire on Feb 26 2018 and am not sure if I will be requested to do medicals again.

notes show it they never inform about that

In the GCMS notes it only says "Passed," there is no further reference. However, if you are concerned about the medicals and the assessment made by IRCC, you can request GCMS (Medicals), which will have GCMS notes + the entire medical record and the assessment done by IRCC.

Medical is last thing to worry about it pass within 3 days to week background and eligibility that take all time

In the GCMS notes the medicals are not included, only their status is mentioned. To get the cord for the medicals, you will need GCMS (Medicals). Most applicants medicals will clear without any concerns, but those who have concerns, can request GCMS (Medicals) and see what it says.

If your eligibility is clear, as you claim, then the only thing pending is security.

Legalfalcon - any chance you have some knowledge on interpreting gcms notes for h&c applications? It has been a year since we applied and we recently requested for gcms notes but there are not much notes in there except for data inputs

Is there anything we should be looking out for apart from the due dates?
