Please provide a background on which the H&C petition was filed.

Hi the H&C was applied on the basis of hardship in home country. My friend has been in canada for 5 years and he has a canadian born child with a medical condition. They, as parents of the canadian born child, applied to stay permanently in canada via h&c

Any thoughts on what we should be looking for in the gcms notes? It does not appear that there are a lot of info

Thanks

The GCMS notes aren't very helpful as its a discretionary issue. However, check the last 6-8 pages and see if any notes have been entered. If not, then IRCC has not made a determination. GCMS notes are helpful to know the stage at which the application is at and if there are any concerns. When it comes to H&C, the decision is an holistic issue, where input is sought from different agencies, and then a decision is made.

this is the generic email when you use cse to inquire about ur app, unfortunately i'm not tech savy i don't know how to attach pics

I wouldn't read much into the email received from IRCC. They are generic and don't have much weight. Instead, rely on GCMS or just wait it out.
Also, 80% applications are processed within 6 months, and the 6 months timeline starts from the day R10 (completeness check) is passed.

All application go through the following stages:

R10
Medicals
Criminality
Eligibility
Security

To read on each stage see https://www.getgcms.com/blog/express-entry-application-processed/

R10 is the aor1 I'd assume? or is it from the SA?

In the GCMS notes the medicals are not included, only their status is mentioned. To get the cord for the medicals, you will need GCMS (Medicals). Most applicants medicals will clear without any concerns, but those who have concerns, can request GCMS (Medicals) and see what it says.
Hi @legalfalcon, please share your thoughts on if I should order for GCMS, or specifically GCMS (Medicals).
ITA: 20/09/17
CRS: 451
AOR: 8/12/17
UCI: 20/12/17
FSW Outland

Apart from UCI, I haven't got any other info. I applied thru a Consultant, and so doesn't have any direct access to my Profile.
The trend shows that people are getting PPR within a month, after passing Medicals in a week's time. I am stuck and looks like my application is static and there is no movement. Is ordering GCMS to early at this stage?

Thank you

Requesting GCMS notes will be premature at this stage, as you won't see much. If the UCI has been issued, then you have cleared R10 and most likely criminality and medicals. Request GCMS notes in the first week of February, they should have notes on your eligibility. By then the eligibility should have been passed or started. They will help you know what is happening with your application.

Sure. Thank you. I will wait until February, hope by the time there is some movement with my application.

Just ordered GCMS notes again, hope I'll understand what's going on with my file...

hi @legalfalcon

Thanks for all the help you provide to everyone in this forum...i also need help regarding the GCMS notes i had ordered from www.getgcms.com.
I had sent CIC my updated PCC (Mine on May 23rd and husband's on May 30th) after I realised that just state police's PCC would not suffice.
They have apparently received both by 1st Aug as per my conversation with Call centre agent.

In my GCMS notes, on page 390, I find my notes written as below -

My concern is - PARKED CASES NOTES - Case parked due to the following missing documents: - Other - UCI mix up.

No updates yet?

To answer and interpret the notes, I need more info. UCI mixup is when an applicant has more than one UCI in the system, which should never happen.
