Can anyone guide me about the PCC

So we do everything online and then pay the money and we take receipt to the passport office is that correct it please if you guide on the complete procedure

I assume your family for whom you filed are living abroad. Since each country has its own regulation , did you first tried searching on https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how.html

To be very honest my friend I was never able to link my application to my account and never tried that desperately too. The telephonic update says the back ground check had not started yet. And on ECAS it says in progress for pr application and decision made for the sponsorship part. This update has been the same on ECAS since almost one year now.

So no clue man what’s gonna come up n when, All we can do is just wait n watch.

What’s ur say on this situation, also if any one else got some word of advise on this.

Me too, I have no clue as to what is going on with NDVO & why they just have spurts & then complete silence. ECAS shows in progress & MyCIC shows Background check in progress. But it has been so for almost a year now....

Hi everybody...can someone plz tell me how to check ur file status in mycic? It has been two years since there is no update on my ecase...pgp program but within these 2 years we have got many requests and emails from NDVO but evade is not updated. So I am assuming if I check my file status through mycic I will get some updates. Thanks!!

Applied : PGP 2016
SA approved: Feb 2017
Lost my job in 2017, but met the LICO requirements in 2012-2016,
will not meet LICO requirement on my own in 2017,
but will meet LICO requirement. if we include my wife's income,
applied on my own income in 2016 as at time my income was fulfilling the requirement,
your input on this will be appreciated,

I think you are ok! After SA, CIC should make next step instead of moving back to recheck SA. Also it is unfair to the sponsor who has been processed late although they said income should meet requirement all the time until file is finalized. So don,t worry and just wait

the status on my end has been "medical recvd" . its been almost 10 months since meds.

(but havent received any correspondence. Last one was for PCC and Medical request recvd in Feb 2017 which was completed)
Interview : You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics : We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
(Is a clean record on PCC considered for this.? By the way PCC was sent on March 08 2017)
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

It means your Background Check is still in-progress. A clean PCC is surely a part of it, but IRCC will check the applicant and all accompanying and non-accompanying family members' name against all security database available. If any of them lived in other countries for more than 6 months, IRCC will request info from respective foreign agencies as well which takes time. Longer travel history also has an negative impact in BG Check. Besides, online status saying BG Check In-Progress doesn't necessarily mean they really started it, it may be just in queue.

We have requested CIC to add my daughter through WebForm as per modified rules of increase in age of dependent child and whose file is in progress on May2017? I do not what is next and when? Not sure. Did you try calling CIC help desk? Maybe the agents there might be able to assist you on the spot.

That seems odd. I thought you receive the CoPR with the PR visa stamped on passport. Can someone who recently received PR visa please confirm if there has been any change in the procedures?

I have sent passport to NDVO and awaiting stamping. Based on this post, am not sure whether to expect just the stamped pp or also the CoPR.

You will get the CoPR as well, my parents did find their CoPR later.
