There is no specific amount, provide an explanation/proof to whatever you think needs explaining.
Hello all
I will be uploading documents and depositing my fee till tomorrow evening. Last date to apply for my application is January 3, 2018. My questions are:-
1) Should I feel relax after submitting it that I will get AOR because there will be Christmas holidays soon?
2) Will these holidays effect my submission date?
3) How much time will CIC take for AOR?

1) I think AOR will be automatically issued so holidays won't matter
2) No
3) You should receive it within 24 hours.
Whether they Can? Yes
Whether They will ? Depends on case to case.
In any case, you'll have to show the funds that you declare in your POF when you land in Canada

If your case is strong enough with no ambiguity then you can expect the Ready for Visa email within 2 months.
I got mine in 1.5 months.
but now obviously they will start work after 1st week of Jan.

How can I use money in my dad's account for my proof of funds? His account is more than 6 months old and has sufficient funds. He is willing to do anything. I don't have any money in an account under my name. What would be the best solution?

If I do so, should I put my dad's bank statement, my bank statement (the new account) and gift deed as the proof of funds after ITA ?

You don't need to provide his bank statement (although you can if you want to) as long as you provide the gift deed with proof of transfer that will be sufficient.
Should be fine but you must have those funds when doing the landing procedure.

Hello. I have three questions related to the proof of funds:
1) Do I need to provide a bank letter stating just the average balance of the past six months or I need to provide bank statements as well that show all activity for the past six months?
2) In my Express Entry application I showed a bit more money than the minimum required for two people. Does that mean I need to prove funds for the amount I showed in Express Entry or the official minimum requirement will be enough?
3) I lack some thousands in my account but my accompanying spouse is going to transfer from his account to my account the missing part (we don't have a joint account). Is that ok? Or would that be considered as a loan and be suspicious?
