Just got DM! We'd been traveling so haven't been checking ecas or gckey and I just got an email this morning that I have a message in gckey. Turns out it is the pre-arrival services email, so we immediately checked ecas and it says Decision Made!

Looking forward to PPR soon!

Sorry it was gkey that said background check in process for us. Ecas updated after we recieved DM.

It seems that they have been very active lately. Especially for July and August applicants whose application was directly transferred to Mississauga, we're leading in the spreadsheets compared to other visa offices...

Do you know how long it usually takes for them to send back the COPR once they received our mail after PPR, especially for visa exempt citizens?

Usually 2-3 weeks from the time passport info is received to COPR being mailed out.

In my wife's application, the BGC got started by Mississauga. I called the IRCC helpline and they said it was started as all seemed good on the application so we didn't transfer to your VO yet. But it will be transfer to London. This happened on the 20TH Dec.
Now on 22nd the Ecas went to InProcess which I dont know means what? I click on it and it says App received on 22nd Sep and medical passed.
Nothing more there. But GCKEY still says BGC in process.
Anyone knows how long BGC can take and any one in similar situation where file will be transferred after BGC in process?

it totally depends on different cases, some cases got dm in 1 day after BCG started, some cases take weeks or even months to get dm after BCG started. No one can give you an exact answer. The good thing is you are very close to the end of the journey now, so do not worry about it.

In my opinion, you probably will get your dm in 1 month. The time frame to receive your GCMS notes is usually 1 month, too. you may not need to order the note at this point. If i were you, I will wait for 1 or 2 more weeks to see if there is any update in online account before ordering note.

That does sounds reasonable. Hey your BGC took 2 days that is sweet. So I think I should apply notes in 2 weeks and if I get a PPR thats great. Otherwise might get some info.
