Did you receive notice about decision made before the landing letter? Or you only found out from Ecas?Hi;
We received today landing interview letter scheduled for Monday 18th December - Etobicoke; DM was on 1st December (18 days)
Good luck to all
as @profiler said, just relax. It's a matter of 5-10 minutes maximum, everything just go very smoothly. As Profiler also said, you new SIN, you will get in a service Canada office. You just go there with your CoPR (which will be handed to you at your landing) and it's also just a few minutes before it's done.
We received DM letter via email on 1st DecDid you receive notice about decision made before the landing letter? Or you only found out from Ecas?
Congrats!! I saw decision made on the applicant side through Ecas on the December 12th. But as at now I haven't received email or further details from IRCC.We received DM letter via email on 1st Dec
Well said @ profSINs are issued at Service Canada, not CIC. Some CIC offices do have a Service Canada on site. Some have them close by. Some don't.
I don't know where you're landing, so I can't comment. But Google maps can, and the landing officer can direct you.
No advice needed. Just relax. It's not an interview... it's like getting a driver's license.
I told the boss that I'll do my timesheets for the rest of the year, then I'm peeling out until Jan... So 2:30 this afternoonWell said @ prof
How's the weather your side?
We getting covered here in London.
See you still working hard. . . .
When u go off on holidays???
Congrats. That's your DM. You will become a PR on that phone call. It's apparently a new program they are trying out to speed up landings. the interview that would normally happen at the office, is now being done over the phone.Hello everybody! I got AIP about a week ago and today I got an email with this:
“We have selected you to be part of a new initiative that allows you to confirm your permanent residency via telephone. This new method allows you to obtain your permanent resident status without the need to physically go to a local IRCC office for an appointment.”
It also says that if the date and time doesn’t fit my schedule I can just “disregard this email” which is a little odd... they don’t ask to re-schedule.
Also in my account there is absolutely no update, this email is not in messages received and everything is still “in process”
Anybody knows what this mean?
OMGGG!! For real?????Congrats. That's your DM. You will become a PR on that phone call. It's apparently a new program they are trying out to speed up landings. the interview that would normally happen at the office, is now being done over the phone.
Systems do take time to update and sync. But that means they have processed your file.
