Can someone give me some insight on the average time line for receiving AOR2, last I heard from CIC was the file transfer at the end of October. if you'd like to look at my time line please click the " click to expand" it was all going very fast in the beginning until the file transfer and the last thing that changed on my wifes GCkey was "medical passed" so I'm just wondering if anyone has any idea or has contacted Vienna about the same issue.

I guess Vienna is not only delaying applicants they are process but also anyone that they will process thier background checks mostly Germans or who lived there , despite the visa office that process your application.

I don't know whats going on, ive noticed that too like the AOR2 is given within a week or two after the file transfer occurs.. just getting me worried since will probably have to pull our the police reports again maybe even do the medical exam over again since its only valid for 6 months,

Can someone help me in finding out what stage I am at this is what my ECAS says.

it says "in progress": does that mean the AOR2?

The medical has been passed BTW on my GCkey.

does anyone know what comes next, or how far along am I?

I applied to sponsor my spouse who lives in Kosovo (He is the principle applicant for the immigration and permanent residency)
I am probably just very impatient,
but August 15th 2017 my application was received by CIC. They started processing it on Sept 20th 2017. Sept 29th I got the email asking for the principle applicant to complete the medical exam. The medical exam was successful and he passed! On October 6th the application was forwarded to the VO in Vienna (before my spouse even did his medical exam wth??), and on October 10th they started processing it.

Since then I have not had any updates (No AOR or anything) How long after your applications were sent to Vienna did you receive any updates?

I got my GCkey updated to You passed your medical exam today. I got medical request November 2th and did medical exam on November 6th. I'm a May 29th applicant.

I have the same info on my ECAS, just they started processing on October 30th 2017. hopefully this process goes quickly and from what I know Kosovo is fairly quick on if the visa office has any concerns on documentation they want more insight on or want details of authenticity of it. please mention if anything changes though.

Is there any way of making a formal complaint about the lack of progress at the Vienna office? It seems entirely incompetent of them for us all to have gotten to a certain stage but no progress being made for months now. Personally I'm just waiting for my 'eligibility' to be confirmed by a security check (police checks have been received and approved). Surely this is just one officer reviewing a few documents and giving it a stamp, even with large numbers of applicants, this is far from months' worth of work...
