But how are they expected to find you application in the system when they have not issued AOR?
I said to myself that I would't worry until AOR's were on the 80%... I'm from the 16th so is my time to get worried hehehe :S ... Or I guess I'd leave my worries for Monday.
I'd wait until the end of the month. By then they should have gotten through most of the big wave post-Oct 11.
I've also called them today, and was told the exact same thing. I did panic for a few seconds...but I am not going to re-apply, I'm just going to wait for a couple more weeks. I did specifically ask if they have any way to physically confirm the file is not at the Sydney office, and (of course) the call centre person said no, all they were able to do is checking the system electronically.
I am in the same boat, Oct 16 applicant. Interesting enough, this could all be just a probability game...
She checked my information in the system and told me there is nothing. I don’t know whether Syedney office enters application receiving information in the system before AOR or not?

Dude, not sure if you saw my post. I called today as well and was told the exact same thing you posted. I wouldn't worry - obviously it's not on their system yet. It's just not yet processed... Give it another 2-3 weeks and call them again.
Well, I don’t know how to contact Syedney Office, I was also told to reapply as your application is not in the system. It may be lost.
I think we need to find a way to contact Syedney office, how they could lose our registered mail after receiving the application and signing the receipt.
You can write a letter to them through mail. But if you want to mail them who not mail another application with a explanation letter telling what the call center said.
