They are processing Oct 12-19/20 simultaneously. Several folks from Oct12/13/16 are still waiting.Hello guys,
My application was delivered on Oct 16th but unfortunately I have not received AOR yet. I am seeing in the sheet that still people from Oct 12 and 13 are waiting for AOR. But more than 80% of Oct 12, 13 and 16 applicants received AOR so far. I guess that some of them did not get back to this forum to update their status. I am just wondering if anybody knows which application dates IRCC is working on now. I remember that the last update was Oct 12 few days ago.
Thank you for your reply. I see that applicants whom applications were delivered up to 20th are getting AOR. But I am just wondering if anybody recently called IRCC to inquire about the application date they are working on now. I remember that I saw a post few days ago that mentioned they are working on Oct 12 and after. They are processing Oct 12-19/20 simultaneously. Several folks from Oct12/13/16 are still waiting.
I just called them , they are working on 19 Applications , , it seems they are working on 19th before 16th and 17th and 18th . weird !Hi,

Thanks for the info. You mean IRCC told you that they are working on applications delivered on 19th?I just called them , they are working on 19 Applications , , it seems they are working on 19th before 16th and 17th and 18th . weird !
I see your point. But my impression is that for every candidate IRCC would obtain from CBSA the list of entries into Canada, and wherever possible the list of entries and exits in other countries (the USA, for example, as provided by the I94 website). So IRCC can be reasonably sure of ALL the entry dates, and at least some of the exit dates.I'll give it another shot:
As for logic: if a person entered and did not exit, in-between those events they could NOT have crossed a border illegally or otherwise. They did not cross the border at all.
But the question remains: did they cross the border? Legally or otherwise. That's the issue. To what extent can IRCC rely on REPORTED dates of entry and exit to be all the actual dates of entry and exit?
IRCC does not have a crystal ball. There is no omniscient source to absolutely verify ALL actual dates of entry and exit.
yes thats what he told me , the 19th !
Thanks for sharing. Then I dont know what happened to the rest of applications delivered before 19th...yes thats what he told me , the 19th !
I just called them , they are working on 19 Applications , , it seems they are working on 19th before 16th and 17th and 18th . weird !
I think the simplest explanation to this is that different officers work at a different pace. Your file could've landed on the desk of a slowpoke taking his time. Meanwhile other officers are processing faster and moving on to applications from more recent dates. I believe my application was a victim of this. I applied on Oct 13 and only just received AOR 2 days ago. It is unfair, but there is nothing we can do about it.Thanks for the info. I hope its true. I will wait till end of next week and call them if I do not hear anything.I think the simplest explanation to this is that different officers work at a different pace. IRCC seems to be working hard to catch up ... as is evidenced by the fact that AORs are being received at night and on Saturday/Sunday.
I don't see how the agent is so sure that your application is lost. Oct 12/13/16th are still receiving AOR on a daily basis. I think you should give it more time. Those call center agents will have no information on your file till you get AOR. Calling them won't help.Application lost by CIC-Please advise
I spoke with CIC call center. My application was received by Syedny CIC on 13of October and R.LAURENDEAU signed and got the application but I am still waiting for AOR. CIC says currently they work on October 19Applications. CIC call representative checked my application in the system and she told me it is not in the system and it may be lost, she advised me to reapply. The problem is that my original PCC is in the application, beside this, it will be very lengthy process to reapply. She told me that CIC call office does not have communication channels with CIC Sydney Office and my only option is to reapply. Is there any way to contact Sydney office and request them to check my application, I am sure they will have it as I sent my application via FedEx registered mail and CIC Sydney received it. Please advise what should I do?
