Just got my AOR today November 22nd. They received my application September 20th

I’m Sep 20 and havent received any AOR yet. Good for you! Still waiting.

I was asked for Schedule A but not police check. And currently on my account it says "Background check: not applicable"

They haven’t asked me for sch A or police check yet. I have sent then IRCC form twice to inquire. They replied no additional documents required. I applied in May 2017.

Hello! My boyfriend and I submitted our common law application September 27th. Since then we havent heard anything. Am i supposed to be recieving a confirmation letter? Ive tried to find it online but it doesnt come up. Also i submitted an owp along with it. When am I supposed to receive that? I cant seem to find OWP on the processing times website. I appreciate any replies. Thank you!

Hello all,

So today i just checked mycic and found an update which is
You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.

Before that it was medical passed. My medical was supposed to expure based in gcms notes on nov 22nd

Does that change mean they will request for new medical? Is it an automatic update or it means someone is working on my file?

Medical and police certificate were submitted upfront
I applied Inland Dec 21 2016
BGC started in April and still in process
aiP and SA on aug 23 2017
Owp applied on Nov 8th 2017

Any ideas if they will ask for new medical?

I think that the order varies a little bit between the dates. I know there are some people from Sep 21 that already got their AOR but there's also people from a couple of days before that havent gotten theirs. Now the next step is trying to link the application. I have been trying for the last two days but still no luck!

Hi. So it takes about 2 months to get your first email (AOR) from the CIC. They received my application in their mail September 20th. I only got my AOR two days ago. You will probably get yours in about a week or so. You also wont find your application online until you get your initial AOR. After you get your AOR you will get an application number and you have to use that number to link your paper application to their online system.
And I havent found OWP processing times online either. But from what I hear in this forum AFTER you get your AOR you still have to wait 4 more months to get your OWP.

I believe its 4 months from the date IRCC received your application and not necessarily the AOR
