5 weeks at MEDP

Hi Everyone,

My AOR is Sept 28th and MEDP since Oct 17th. I haven't seen my background check change at all and my additional documents are still being reviewed. I'm CEC inland.

Does anyone know what stage I'm at? Should I be worried that nothing has changed in 5 weeks?

What does your background say exactly? CEC inland is extremely slow right now. I won't be surprised if you are still at ip 1

It says "not applicable" and my additional documents just changed to "we do not need any additional documents"

My AOR was Aug 16th, and I just got my app approved yesterday. The entire time my BGC seemed to say "we are processing your background check." What worried me the most was that Eligibility said "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements." Even after receiving PPR.. nothing changed. Once my PPR was processed everything updated in one go. I don't know why all these progress markers were even there. I don't think CIC updated any of them.. apart from Medical was passed.
