That's an insane amount of proof. I attached one NOA, and one bank statement from a different year than the NOA. They had no issues with that. You only need 2 pieces of evidence.. You don't have to show proof for every day you were in the country.. Its as simple as 2 pieces of evidence...

When you're looking for an AOR, are you looking for a message in your account or an email confirmation? I never received any confirmation for my online renewal, but my card arrived just fine. I don't think that you get an AOR for this particular process...

Are you using Safari web browser by any chance? I had multiple issues with mine, so I switched to FireFox and then everything worked properly.

I don't think anyone here is saying they used old headshot photos for their application. I certainly haven't. We are talking about uploading a copy of our old PR card for the application. I just took a photo on my phone of the front and back of the old card, rather than getting a photocopy done.

Great! Thanks. Yeah, I think there is a question about whether your headshot photos are digital copies from the photographer, or scanned photos.. so I guess a photo of your headshot photo is the same as a scan, as long as you tick that option in the application. Thanks again!

I am about to submit my PR card renewal online, but I have only taken photos of my old PR card with my phone (front and back). I got to thinking that maybe I should get actual photocopies of them instead? Has anyone out there successfully renewed their card with photos of their old card...

Update: I just tried FireFox as it was already on my computer. After I ran through the form again and re-answered the questions about having any PR issues or removal orders etc, it now shows as Ready To Submit in green.

I'm also wondering the same thing.. Did anyone get professional passport style photos taken and then scan them as a JPEG, or are people just getting photos taken on their phones and uploading them? Not sure how to do the photos with the online portal renewal!

Wow, this is a blast from the past. Sorry I can't help you, I ended up getting my PR Card in time for the trip and didn't need to get a PRTD. It just arrived without warning in the mail. They don't make it easy to track timeframes on getting the cards that's for sure. Best of luck with it.

I landed last December and got my PR card end of Jan. If I log into MyCIC today it still says my PR application is 'Approved'. I tried many times to link my PR card application to my profile but the system could never find it. It still came.

I'm not sure how you were admissible on your original IEC visa. Seems that even ppl with low end DWI's have trouble obtaining visas or residency. CIC & CBSA appear to have zero tolerance on criminal convictions. I'm not sure, you might need to consult a Canadian immigration lawyer on this issue.

Congrats! Now you just have to wait for the card. Also don't forget to visit Service Canada and get a new permanent SIN number.
