Thanks Kalkatta ! i am sure its a big relief. No update on ecase status. I received an email from CIC office for me and my family members.
Hi, my test location is MississaugaDo you know your test location is it Mississauga or Scarborough ?
Good.. they are not making you travel to Scarborough..Hi, my test location is Mississauga
Did they ask you about Original COPR or in your case VOS? I don't have mine too and applied for citizenship. Do you recommend to get VOS? Please advice.I forgot to update something , i lost my spouse COPR between my test-interview and Oath. Applied for VOS on urgent basis along with the copy of oath invitation. Got the VOS within 5 days by email.
Hi Victorier;Hey i have question if someone can please guide me kindly
I got my ecas status "decision made''on first November.and its been like 20 days that i haven't heard anything from them.I called them on the same day about the decision made ecas and they said everything is all fine.and now its been 20 days i haven't got any email or mail about an oath ceremony.I am more worried because i am traveling on 17 December. And i dont want my oath date to come up when m out of country. So normally how much time after decision made,a mail or email comes telling about the oath ceremony.and normally how many days gap is between oath letter date and oath ceremony?
PLEASE GUIDE
THANKS
It's normal- I had given my oath already and my ecas still showed only Decision made. Don't worry about itJust a question
How often applicants receive oath invite while their ecas is still not showing it
Please share if you have experienced it and whether the letter was sent by email or snail mail?
Thanks
They usually say that the oath invite can be expected sometime in the next 2 months after decision is made..so I would call either call them and inform them of your travel plans so they don't send you the invite then, or you could wait till you received the invite and then call and request them to re-schedule your appointment if you are still out of the country..one and the same thing I guess..Hey i have question if someone can please guide me kindly

Sorry for late reply. VOS is a replacement for COPR , its better you get it done. Fill in the application and send it to Ottawa office. It takes long to get the VOS. I had requested urgently sending the copy of the Oath invitation. Test we had the COPR but lost it after the Test and before the Oath. So, We had to get the VOS.Did they ask you about Original COPR or in your case VOS? I don't have mine too and applied for citizenship. Do you recommend to get VOS? Please advice.
