I just called to CIC, they said, there is no application number for first PR card and also there is no way to link the application .... Strange

Is there anyone who faced the same problem?

Can someone tell me, if I change the address for first PR card then can confirm the address change from CIC ?

As per CIC you should not link first card application. Even tho some of us could. Don’t worry it will be all good.

When you call cic just ask them to confirm the address on file.

Hi Soumya,

I am also landed on 8th Oct. But, I am not able to link the application.
Did you also get (became PR date of 10th Oct instead of 8th Oct) ?

I moved from India. I guess, people moving from US are able to link the applications to the account.
btw, where did you move from?

Regards

Hi Sunny,
So, did you link the application easily ? I am also from India but, not able to link the application.
I tried many times but, could not.

I couldn't in the beginning, but later I could. I entered my place of birth exactly as given in passport instead of COPR.

Thanks for the reply.

So, when are you expecting your card ? I mean, how much they take after additional documents change status ?

and did you get any additional documents request before ?
