It was very fast for you! Lucky! I think your case is more unusual than most. I've heard 2 months minimum. Hopefully my husband and I will get lucky to celebrate the new year together in Canada!
Not really we apply October 2014
HI Guys,

I am getting married in Feb, I will be coming back to Canada in march.

Is it ok if i apply for my spouse sponsorship (Permanent residence )in April?

Should be alright since you have already married when you get back to Canada

Hi MaryL,
I got my full hearing for Dec 6, 2017, and it's been already a very long process for us, me and my family.
Just wondering, during the IAD hearing, was your lawyer of any help, or it's just that you can handle it, i you have all the proof and addressed all the concerns, which resulted in refusal of visa, and most common is "Marriage no Genuine". Also, where (which city), did you have your IAD hearing?.
Sorry for not seeing this sooner. Many ppl do their own appeal. I believe our lawyer prepping us the week before and picking out key questions for each of us helped. For sure. Our evidence spoke for itself. I was there a total of 9 times. At the time of refusal 5 times. Half our marriage. But he definitely helped when it counted. Appeal was in my city, Regina, on May 9. We got offered a mere 3 hours, when IAD bypassed us for adr. Said we needed a full day. In the end we won in 2 hours. We were told immediately. Two weeks later the approval letter came Two weeks after that, Ottawa received my husbands app, June 5. They requested updated forms, medical & pcc July 11 I believe. July 24 medical done, received & passed July 27, updated forms uploaded August 1, DM on August 10. PPR October 2, was wrong, corrected on October 6, took passport to Rabat visa office on October 11, a couple hours later received his passport back with his visa. Landed October 14, 2017, in Montreal, then Toronto &finally in my city, 10:20pm Regina time.

Do we need to land Canada straight after getting permanent visa or can also adjust for a couple of month anyone did before?

Hello friends,
How are you all doing? Has anyone been denied or refused family visa recently that need go through appeal.
I was refused back in January 2017 and submitted appeal notification immediately and we were asked to wait for our bluebook which came in August 2017. I later call the IAD office
After all these stories I was now asked to wait for 24 months to get a date for hearing omg I Dont think this is any way near uniting the family.
Did anyone got that too?
Thank you

I know that a couple of us have ADR next week and so i want to wish us all the best and that it works in all our favors. Remember to study your blue book and the reason why your app was denied. For those who are still waiting im hoping that you guys here something soon too.
