Guys, i have a question for my friend. She is the sponsor and she lives outside of Canada. She wants to know if you all provided proof of funds in your Canadian bank accounts? and this is a question for sponsors living outside of Canada.

I think if you are owing government loan like school loan you might be required to show proof of funds. I was never asked for proof of funds.

My GC Key says Your Action Is Required. When i called CIC first time, the agent told me that there is a glitch in the system. IRCC has issued a letter requesting Schedule A. She advised me to submit it via web form. I submitted it via web form. I called IRCC again to check if they have requested anything else as well also. This time agent told me that they have issued a letter and mailed it to principle applicant's residential address in India. Why would they mail a document when we provided email id and we have linked our application online. we have received medical request through GC KEY today 20 minits after i talked to agent today. I confirmed with my wife in India, she did not get any letter at our address. any idea what can it be.

I have got sponsorship application status decision made on ECAS since nov 02 2017, but no correspondence from IRCC about it. How long will it take them to send me correspondence about their decision. Is it good sign that they have requested medical after SA decision made. Can i be happy thinking SA has been approved?

if it says decision made on your ecas that means you are approved to sponsor. so about 'your action required" thing, mine says the same thing but i already uploaded my Schedule A online, but that thing is still there not changing to anything else. did you have the request to upload your schedule A when you linked your application or you had nothing at all, just 'your action is required"?

I had nothing at all and ever since i linked application to online account it says "Your Action Is Required". It has changed to submitted today after i got medical request. I submitted Schedule A form through web form yesterday.

When do you know if the interview has been or will be waived? I recently read somewhere that the PA's side for the PR will never say "we have started processing your application...." until after the interview has been done. is this true?
