Got a response from LVO today regarding my status inquiry. Application is in queue to be reviewed by the immigration officer. I can picture my application laying on a shelf at the office, covered in thick layers of dust.

Yes, I will ask my husband to get in touch with the MP now. This is insane.

I got my notes after my Bgc started.eligibility and criminality passed. current location of file is put away. Due date is 30 nov also. but my group name and number column is blank.

I see. I guess different VO put different stuff in the file. Due date is the same so I guess LVO has decided internally on that

Hi my application was received on 9 Jan 2017 and process started on 9 Feb I got SA ,Aor1 and medical request on 27 Jan
got further doc request on 2 Feb and medical done on 15 Feb.Now I received 30 Oct an email from my lawyer that LVO demanded certified copy of nikkah nama to be provided in urdu with certified translation into English.
Plz share have any one else got this request and what did you sent them?

Did you not submit your NN at all? or was it the English NN? Thanks in advance. I am asking because we submitted NN in English so just curious of what our chances are of getting the same request as you.

@posse how my husband add me as a beneficiary .He called to HR to add my name but they said they can’t add me name because am not in Canada so which kind of other benefits he can add my name. Please advice

same is the case here .. i can't add my hubby till he is here in canada .. all insurance companies have different rules and regulations .. i submitted facebook status updates, along with atleast 20 pages of our chat (double sided 10 pages) and atleast 10 pages of our call logs from whatsapp .. send them receipts of dinner/lunches, etc .. hotels, tour guides .. places you visited where you had to buy ticket to enter .. boarding passes, plane tickets .. passport page where entry and exit stamps are .. think of other things you send them .. also just don't stop at 20 pictures .. send them more .. make sure you cover all of the "Rasmay" .. hope this helps ..

We submitted English NN and one issued by Nadra but it was just translation and wasn't notarized I guess.

That's ridiculous. You should see your MP and demand that they get your notes to you within three days.

Well I'm not currently in Canada so I can't see my MP (maybe someone else can on my behalf, since the MP office already has my info), but would that actually help? Do MP's have any control over/access to notes?

You re-submitted your notes request on Sept 26. I initially submitted mine on Sept 20 and got them yesterday so it took 40 days in total. Another member also got theirs in 40 days recently so I think that is the standard time right now. Give it a few more days and you should get them soon.

I will advice you not to submit pictures taken at any vfs facility. I got mine taken from islamabad and after 2 months of landing i got an email that my pr card is not processed because the pictures were not correct. I submitted my pictures again and got my pr card after another 2 months (4 months after landing). So vfs photos costed me double time and money.

NADRA issued is the Marriage Registration certificate. We also submitted the English NN only. I hope they let it slide, because it is so counter productive to send an Urdu NN with translation when we can just submit the English one.
