Interview was ok at begin was kind of serious they asked so many things but was to the point and on end told me will contact you soon shortly and told me if have further documents to add I gave her original police certificate and some other documents she told me will add to file and was smiling on end . was all in english but asked if I wanted if I want to do it in Arabic it took almost one hour

My husband has his interview yesterday. He said he thinks it went well and that the woman who interviewed him was nice at first and towards the end she was being kind of rude. The interviewer said they would email or call him if they need anything else from him. He never heard from them yet

Don't worry .. they will contact him very soon as there a lot of experience here said after maximum one week they will ask for his passport. ..

That's great Ahmed Did they asked u to add any documents or u just added from yourself !!
And tell me when did ur application has been transfered to Cairo visa office and when did they start processing it !!

They asked me if I want add any new documents as I brought with me a lot of papers, I did not offer on mail was asking only for passport and invitation but told me will contact you very soon but did not keep passport , my application was since 26 October and in Cairo 24 November process started right away and asked documents on August then interview in October so now one year but hope to get good news soon as is really so much stressful to be far of your wife and family

Hi,

I applied online for visitor visa to Canada. The decision has been made. The application was approved and they requested my passport.

Timeline:
1-Oct-2017: I submitted the application
5-Oct-2017: Application approved and they requested my passport
9-Oct-2017: I submitted my passport in the VAC in Cairo, Egypt
9-Oct-2017: They sent me my application number to track my passport

Until now I haven't received my passport (14 business days). They said that the process takes 3-5 days. I called the VAC after 5 days, and they said it may take 7-10 days. The passport is still in the embassy until now according to them. Is that normal? And what should I do in this case?

Our application was transferred to Cairo on 2 January they requested our medicals 25 January they requested our passports on 27 March till now we didn't get our passports back due to security clearance

Sept.6, 2016- Family Sponsorship Application received.
Sept. 29, 2016- Started processing application here in Canada.
October 20,2016- Got an email saying I was approved to Sponsor my husband and our application was sent to Cairo.
Oct. 27, 2016- Application being processed in Cairo.
After this we hadn't received any news about out application and I went to Egypt 2 more times after this. Then finally my husband got an email from Cairo on Sept.10, 2017 and he has his interview Oct. 24, 2017. Does anyone know how long it will take after his interview to get an answer? Thank you

we have good news the embassy have asked us to send courier to get the stamped passport. they have asked us to use DHL. Does any one know how this is done. we went to DHL office and they ask me to send email to the main office. aany idea?
