Oct 2017. We started this process in June 2017 and the whole thing only took 5 months. We are very surprised. I think every sponsored person has a security check but if the person did not travel outside egypt u just tell them this.

No we did not do the medical until they asked. I guess the old process was to get the medical in advance but the new process is to wait for the request.

The cairo visa office asked me (sponsor) for proof of my time in egypt. I sent in photocopies of the egypt visas in my passport and some pictures. Then they asked both of us to provide our travel history. I'm not sure where we are at with our background check but they have already asked for...

We had not done the medicals in advance, we will do them this week :) I think the background check is in progress but no decision made.

Hello everyone. We submitted our application in June, it was received in midJuly, they asked for PCC and Schedule A end of July and this was uploaded online end of July. I received sponsorship approval early Aug and since then we have not heard anything. No request for medicals yet. I am not...

Mailed our package June 16th. Should arrive June 20 :)
