Need suggestion...

Dear All,

I’m Bangladeshi, resident of Bahrain since 1992 and continue working with my current company since 2000. My family (wife, 14+ & 5+ yrs. 2 kids) also living here with me (kids are born and brought up here).


To enjoy my annual holidays (annual), usually the family moved out of Bahrain. Especially during the summer, because children have a summer holiday in school.


For example, in the last two summer holidays (2016 and 17) we came out of a few European countries. In the next (2018) summer holidays, we want to travel to Canada for 2-3 weeks.


Unfortunately we can’t apply for a Canadian TRV from Bahrain because there is no Canadian Embassy here. As far as I know - there are Canadian embassies in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.


Hopefully all of you will help me with the necessary suggestions -


i) Where would it be better to apply for our TRV?

ii) What kind of documents we need to submit with the application?

iii) Do we have to apply online or personally attend the embassy and apply?

iv) How often does the entire process take time?

You can email and ask them about visas and procedures.

i) Where would it be better to apply for our TRV?

The Abu Dhabi visa office is responsible for TRV applications from Bahrain.

You'll need to apply either online or submit the paper applications at one of the VACs (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Kuwait City or Doha).

You'll need to give your biometrics, in-person, at the VAC even if you apply online.

ii) What kind of documents we need to submit with the application?

iv) How often does the entire process take time?

Processing times can take a few weeks to a few months depending on the applications

I have been call them earlier and they replied to contact only Abu Dhabi office.
