I'm from India, Bangalore and was looking into getting a distance education certificate from Canada in MT. I wanted to know is it still a flourishing career in Canada or has it lost it's scope? should i Look into another field

First of all any form of distance learning or online will not help you immigrate to Canada. Due to the use of voice activated software it is a dying career.

oh no! I forgot to mention With a good crs score I'm hoping to get My ITA in the next draw.
Thanks for the tip though since I was really looking forward to getting certified before reaching there

Please doublecheck that you couldn't use a diploma for crs score. Medical transcription courses tend to be short and very expensive but as I mentioned software eliminates the need for an actual person so not advisable to spend lots of money on a course.
