hello People,
i will appreciate if some one helped. i am an EE applicant and i got my ppr on September 1st the whole process was in CPC- OTTAWA. we submitted our passports on the 4th of Sep and today cairo visa office sent me a request to come in person to the embassy with my original ID. without mentioning anything else. and beside my file number written PQ
my CIC account shows you dont need an interview.
is this an interview or what is that? i am anxious now. would appreciate if someone could help. Thanks

All EE cases I knew that processed in Ottawa has the VISA stamped from Cairo office within 1 week or less without a request for interview.

By the way this office is non predictable, it might be something trivial like documents verification or so.

Looks like they are asking you to receive your passport. Re-read the email and see if the word "interview" is written there. If it is not, there is no interview.

isn't receiving passports limited to courier service only? i am just worried why would they ask me to come in person to the Canadian embassy without mentioning an interview word. it said you are kindly requested to come in person to our office and they mentioned their Address and asked me to bring original ID and a copy of the Email. that's it.
i was relieved after PPR but have no idea what to expect now from them.

We got Decision Made today. It had been 2 weeks since we sent documents they requested (updated schA, updated PCC, updated relationship questionnaire, sponsorship ties to Canada, etc...).
Does anybody know after Decision Made on ECAS, what are the next steps?

Congratulations for DM you were lucky as your case is processed in Mississauga

The processing happened in Cairo VO. They sent AOR2 in July 1st, they requested lots of documents on July 31st.

They often request info from authorities and security agencies from other countries. Do you or your spouse travel a lot?
