Passport stamp translation request

I took my test in June and been asked for the translation of my passport stamps.I've traveled out of the country a couple of time. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to made the decision considering my situation? How long it usually takes to make a decision for those who have gone out of the country a couple of times, any experience?

Where should we do that kind of translation?
Do you think it will be better to send this translation with the application?

It's not in the checklist and I did not send it by my application, but you can if you want to. How that speed up your application I don't know.

It can be done by anyone who speaks the language on the stamp and the language to which is being translated (English or French). A notarized affidavit must be provided by the person who made the translations. So, it can be a friend, but not a family member (there is a list of who is considered a family member here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/cit/admin/general/translation.asp). Translators who are certified members in good standing of one of the provincial or territorial organizations of translators and interpreters of Canada do not need to supply an affidavit. Those translators are EXPENSIVE!
