I want to call CIC to follow my status. Do you have CIC phone number and Ext. number?

There is no extension number, and you simply follow the instructions. If I remember it correctly, the key combination is in the following order: 1-1-1-7-0

If you're calling from the US, use *67 before the number to get through. Otherwise it tells you the number is not available for your area.

Did you call from outside Canada? And did you go for same extension which is mentioned in above message?

from inside canada, and it wasn't the same extension.
I clicked: review status - I'm an EE application, asked me for my application number, then told me my status (automated) same as the cic website, then i got the message of high volume

My EE application deadline is APR 10,2018.
I have no received any information on my USA police certificate.

Did you try applying online for the FBI clearance? It takes only 7 days for the report to arrive. It was just 4 days in my case.
