On the MR IMM Type shows Non EDE. What does it mean?

EDE means excessive demand exempt (for medical conditions). Since you are NON-EDE, it implies you are not exempted. Consequently your application will be assessed based on your medical conditions

Customer Service/Call Agent usually have reply templates. He/she probably clicked on the wrong template and was like f*** it, there're many other ppl waiting, let them wait together.

I was so tempted to send them a message (even an essay haha), my application will hit 16 months in 3 weeks...but probably I need not. They don't care, never do

Mine will hit 16 months in 6 days.

It takes basically 1 day for them to finish security check.
My application passed security check and everything, but they still have no deadline on what they call a "final review"

Hi Guys , I Just hit 16 th month mark today. that does not make me feel sad. Because technically every passing day means getting closer to unknow date of ppr. Keep paitience guys . have faith we been through more hard times in past. Now is the matter of some more days or maybe months ..

I got the same answer... I think they don't have any new information but they still have to reply since our cases have pass the processing times.

Does someone knows how the process works after background check? Does your case goes from Sydney to Ottawa for Decision Made or does Sydney do that and then send your case to Ottawa for Passport Request? Is Decision Made comes at the same time as Passport Request?

Need your suggestion that how can I demonstrate Substantively the below mentioned question raised by the officer although the round of interviews were conducted by employer

"Though your employer states that a phone and skype interview was conducted, it is unclear what questions were asked and how your accounting qualifications were assessed. Please request your employer to demonstrate the level of scrutiny applied during the recruitment/hiring process. Substantive evidence will be provided more weight than a summary of the recruitment process. Substantive evidence refers to the documentation created during the hiring process. Examples would include, but is not limited to proof of your application to the offered position, phone logs, skype logs, list of questions asked and original interview notes taken by the employer."

Latest update: So my BG check is still in process, but "Review of additional documents" has been changed to "You do not need additional documents". Before it was showing "We are reviewing your additional documents".

it should be working now. It didn't work for me in the morning but I was able to get in about half an hour ago and I saw some updates.

Not working for me as well. I think it is for some general updates. Every time it happened in the past, I found some people got updates. I could be anyone, but someone.
