I (the sponsor) just got a letter from CIC stating that our application will be processed in Mississauga. So, then I am assuming we won't be transferred to a VO. If so, does this count as our AOR2? My PA did not get a letter about this.

Also, I have heard on other threads that processing at Mississauga has been at a stand still after PCC/Sched A. Anyone else feel the same?

Ottawa is heavily backlogged so Ottawa applicants are now being processed in Mississauga. Hopefully it will all go smoothly henceforth. Fingers crossed.

What does this mean? Is this sponsorship approval? Is this AOR2 or ECAS?

This is AOR2 and i guess your SA is approved already . for your reference , Cic had sent me SA email then i got AOR2 email after few weeks . we should receive medical request soon , everything is going smoothly .

Ecas shows in process-23 aug
Aor2-28 aug
Background check on gckey-not applicable since 15 aug
Aww little relax now but in AOR2 they ask for pcc again!!!!

Usually the status will change and then you will receive an email correspondence. This happened for me for SA and AOR2.

I re-submitted mine May 26th and it was received May 30th waiting for aor1 for June.

Original submission was April 28th and it was returned back to me due to incorrect mailing address.

Hi same thing happened with me I sent my file in July and it came bk last week and reason was due to mailing address issue. What was your issue...and Whts the status of your file now. I HOPE submission is nt and issue.
