Passports to CPC Ottawa- July 2017

Today additional documents changed, taking it as a glitch/internal processing thing.

I called them today out of anxiety of what might be happening officer was not great but he said: passport has been sent to printing room (he gave that info in short and precise way) and as he seemed a bit annoyed I didn't bother him much and thanked him and hanged up.

Hope all goes thru well and passport gets back quickly, cos yes the wait kills part by part

After seeing all the posts on passports waiting in printing room for visa, I'm curious to know
1. How big is the printer room?
2. How many printers are available?
3. How many are operational?
4. How many of them are out of cartridge?
5. How many visas get printed in a day?

Please take it on a lighter side guys just thought to kill few minutes

I wish all of us to get stamped passports, COPR soon!! Hang in there!

They got only one printer....one person let say works as an operator and rest of people just help to change the cartridges...Canadian model...lol

App Approved- July 28
PP received- 2 August
Planning to land at Peace arch border this weekend. Anybody have any experience at this border? What docs should I take with me to the border.

Apparently my status in the applications page changed to:
Additional documents : Additional documents you provided are being reviewed.

Can anyone provide insight why this happened after Passport has been received at CPC Ottawa and they confirmed today it's in printing room. Either is it just a glitch or an internal processing thing?

It happened with me as well. My passport got delivered on 19July.

called cic today 02 august and was told by agent that my passport has been stamped and returned to canada post nearest to my house since 31 july,i never got any email for tracker activation or approved on mycic account.
everything still same as ip1 . Anyways i have received my passport at canadapost today with my copr.
i will encourage guys still waiting to give them a call and find out what is going on.
Wish you all the best , will be doing my land at peace bridge on 3rd august 2017.

Unbelievable story. I am confused and shocked. As you say that there is still no updates on MY CIC, but you have already got your PP back.... unbelievable...I think it sounds very good and give a hope for those people who check their accounts 100 times a day....

Why did you pick peace bridge instead of rainbow bridge? I am planning to do my land this weekend, but I am afraid they will not process it because of the weekend. I heard that there's specific dates for flagpole (Tuesday - Thursday). Has anyone flagpole during the weekend?

They don't do it over the weekend so do it on days Tuesday to Thursday

Why did you pick peace bridge instead of rainbow bridge? I am planning to do my land this weekend, but I am afraid they will not process it because of the weekend. I heard that there's specific dates for flagpole (Tuesday - Thursday). Has anyone flagpole during the weekend?
