Oh wow! This is such great news!!! You must be thrilled. So exciting. Finally. There was a delay because they waited so long to ask for the dependents medicals, correct? Didn't the meds pass the beginning of June? Can't believe they took so long to request the passport. But that is all in the past now! I pray there is a fast turnaround time and hubby is in your arms in the blink of an eye.

Oh yes I am more than thrilled. Yes the medicals took long for the kids and they also requested the other parent declaration. When my husband gets here we will file for the kids which I don't think will take long because they have everything.

why did they nned declaration from other parent if kids not accompanying? I thought thay form was only required if kids were accompanying?

My husband's application was received by kingston May 24, did medical and passed before that and july is already finished basically with no response from Kingston. Its been more than two months exactly two months and a week, nothing, im going crazy

Dont worry kingston started processing my husband's app may 8. Meds and police cert went in upfront. Not a word from them as yet. We r trying to occupy our time and mind with other stuff. It seems like forever.

At what point did they ask for them, Smithd? At the same time they asked for the medicals?

The medicals for the kids were asked in January and the declarations in June.

My husband finally got asked for his passport. Been almost one year. I am so happy this process is almost over then we can apply for the kids.

Unfortunately, nobody who sent their application in 2017 has received their passport request as yet. You can have a look at the spreadsheet (there are different tabs at the bottom) at the KVO average wait-times to get an idea of what averages there are available so far, and compare them to 2016...
