Hi,Hey guys just wanted to share my landing experience. I was on a holiday since doing my landing so could not update.
Category: FSW Inland
PP to Ottawa- 3rd July
Delivered to Ottawa- 6th July
Approved- 15th July
PP returned- 26th July
Landing- 26th July at Sarnia at around 7:30 pm
So I got my PP back in the afternoon by CanadaPost and left right away to the Sarnia border as I live in London.
I crossed the bridge and then the US side was super slow in processing the document. Everyone is lazy at Sarnia plus their system crashed. They were cordial and very helpful. I had a US visa so no fingerprints were taken or anything, just made the letter and gave it to me once the computer started working again. No idea why but their system crashes every time I cross the border. (Had to wait 2 hours at SFO once after flying from India through Frankfurt.)
Cross the border back an the CBP agent literally blasted me for coming to Sarnia. She probably didn't want to do it, but she did it anyways and she had no option because I had left the country and since I was on implied status I didn't have a valid TRV as I was on implied status for her to send me in and ask me to get an inland landing appointment. Asked us to sit on the side for 20 mins. Asked the basic questions about criminal charges thing and signed the papers and we were good to go.
The thing was while we were doing our landing, there was no one in the building in Sarnia except us. Completely empty. But it was a Wednesday so no idea. But seemed much faster than what I had read about Niagara and other places.
That is a good question. I am also interested in making an appointment inland if possible.Hi,
Thanks for sharing your update! Do you know how long it takes for scheduling an inland interview appointment?
Why does it take so long? Maybe they printed visa with wrong data and sent it back for reprinting? Like they can keep it forever. Have you seen any other applicant who reached the mark of 1 month and did not get passport back? I have not seen...PPR June 28th

I have no idea. I called again, and this lady insists that my passport was received on 12th of July, which means they let my passport sit there unopened for 12 days after delivery!!!! And I asked her if there's any issue or anyone made mistake or anything. She said no. There is literally nothing that she can help or answer! I'm really annoyed by how slow they work!! It's beyond ridiculous!! Funny thing is that this lady said the printing is first come first serve, and when I asked why people who sent passport after me got theirs back already, then she said it's case by case hahahahhaha. I was like.. do you know what you're talking about? My passport has been in the queue for printing since July 12th, and it's still not my turn? I really wanna ask her if those officers take 6 hours break and only 2 hours work everyday! There must be something wrong. I'm gonna order GCMS note again! I've never seen anyone on this forum facing same issue as me.Why does it take so long? Maybe they printed visa with wrong data and sent it back for reprinting? Like they can keep it forever. Have you seen any other applicant who reached the mark of 1 month and did not get passport back? I have not seen...
