Have you tried linking your application to online account.? you can try that with applicant UCI# /DOB/name.

Linking with application number and UCI is not possible at this time, as i have not received application number yet, also my parents don't have any UCI as of now.

so i tried with Family Name/DOB but was not successful

The logic may be that if PR is rejected, the applicant may stay over as an illegal, as a desperate attempt

This logic is not fair evaluating everyone's case. Solemnly depends from case to case.

But as I said ongoing PGP application can't be the reason for any TRV rejections. Even CIC suggests to apply for visitor visa for in process sponsorship applicants.

ever if it would be true, sponsoring a spouse and sponsoring a parent is completely different. Just like giving a tourist visa to a parent/grandparent and giving one to your 30ys old sibling.

No AOR yet, called up CIC but still will not be able to link the application unless AOR is received.

Hi,

I sent my application to the Ottawa office, they received it on June 2nd, I still couldnt check the status on eCAS. Called the helpdesk they show nothing on their end. Anyone else having this problem, because i see that everyone else who submitted the application around when I did, already can track it.

The same here. "Your action is required" without any requests from CIC.
I applied from Quebec. My guess was that CIC forwarded the request to MICC (Quebec immigration) to get the sponsorship agreement from me. Am I wrong?

I have no idea about Quebec. But i think that action required in online account is something normal. Has anyone's case progressed further without taking any action?
