Recently visited a serviceOntario center for photocard for my parents from India and they said that I need to submit one of their original country id to request a new photocard? My parents are reluctant to deposit any of their original ids and I also do not see that in the checklist that I will...
Due to several reasons, my parents, who did landing in 2019, could not complete residency requirements for PR. I would still want to request extension as things have changed since then. They could only visit 9 months in the 5 yrs term but are currently in Canada to try to complete as much as...
Due to covid and domestic issues (my divorce), my parents could only come for 9 months for their 5 yr period. Their PR card expires in Apr 2024
They do plan to enter before Apr 2024 but i need to know if they will be eligible for OHIP with the PR card expired?
How can they enter even after the card is expired? Do they need to take the land route via USA? Will they be able to get OHIP healthcard if the date on PR has expired?
Their pr card expires Apr 2024. They could only complete 9 months uptil now. They have exactly the same days left for PR card expiry as the number of days to complete their residency obligations.
They are currently out of Canada but planning to come in Apr and try completing atleast 1 more year
My parents are unable to complete the 2 yr residency for the PR term. They are almost near the end date on the back of the PR card
Is there any way to request more time? Should I hire an immigration lawyer?
My parents on PR returned to Canada after 2 yrs. However they plan to return back in 4 months. In these 4 months, they did visit doctors and did some blood tests.
Will there be an impact if they have to return before the mandatory 153 days stay?

My parents are on PR and one of them will need to see a dentist
There seems to be a program meant for low income seniors for free dental coverage as long as they are low income
Qs: Is that applicable and worthy to apply for them? Does PGP sponsor income impact their eligibility?
My parents got the PR for the first time in 2019 and did a landing with 5 months initial stay
Thereafter due to covid, travel bans(India) and my fathers surgeries in home country, they couldnt travel to Canada for almost 3 yrs until 2022 when they entered again.
They need to cover roughly 18...
My parents landed in Apr 2019 and travelled back after 5 months. COVID restrictions forced them to cancel travel twice, once in Apr 2020 and then in Apr 2021. They live in India and gov,t of Canada has stopped travel between the countries for a good 6 plus months forcing my parents to keep...
My parents have PR. Is the day still Sep 7th for them? Technically they are Canadians with PR living in India
What about the India RT test? Will that be valid also?
