I 100% agree...Bad Lawyer/Consultant. Absolutely incorrect and I bet he charged you for both.

she didn't charge us...she was a legal aid for his refugee claim. I did the sponsorship
Application on my own..
We went today to drop the IRB case and they said the lawyer hadn't even transferred our case to toronto and that there was no request.. WHAT THE HECK! Anyways CBSA office confirmed that once husband gets his landing date that they send his passport to CIC office. I called CIC and confirmed this and it's okay that he didn't send his passport as he had a refugee claim at the same

Got my gcsm notes and it is still partly disclosed. Nothing really changed from the last notes save for the fact that they acknowledged my police reports. Literally, not a lot seems to be going on. I paid $1040 dollars in total for my app but the notes says that my rrpf and 'fc sponsorship' (whatever that means) fees are outstanding. The only good news is that I got an all clear from the Doctor today from a cancer scare.
Forgot to mention that part of the notes are still undisclosed and witheld pursuant to Section 15. I applied under Aitp. Dont know if there is any other reason for this non disclosure.

It's not easy to read those notes. Look in the payments section. Ours also said the same thing. The way to view that, is that they hold the $1040 in "escrow" -- to be used as stages have been completed. Example: when they finish the Sponsorship Approval, they will take $75 from the $1040. Then at the end when they have approved your file, they will deduct the $475 + $490. Anything left, they will credit back to you.

Was the CIC physician the one who gave you an all clear, or?

Nah, Cic hasn't made a request yet save for d pcc request. In my notes however, it states that there is a gap in my address history. Family form and form 5669 uploaded to pdf (whatever that means). I was advised to wait for a request before doing another form and sending it out to them. My cic account still says that they dont need any document from me.

I don't think that's the delay.... if they wanted something, they would ask right away (because they have to give you more than 30 days to get it to them). However, they also know you've ordered the notes, so they know you know about the address gap.. maybe you can do it and try to head them off?

@ profiler, sylvain, carol b, guyana gurl, browning etc, can any one of you please, look up your initial gcsm notes and tell me what is written against the Principal Applicant's 'Type of address'. The words 'entered in error' was written against mine in the first gcsm notes and it was written in this second one again as 'entered in error' with the fonts and paragraph changed. My sponsors Type of address is written 'residence'. I know that I have asked this question before, however, the replication in this latest gcsm notes bothers me.
