thank you.
Not quite sure what you meant by, call the MP for your "riding" (?)
Hubby is away working at the moment, so wont be able to call MP for 2 weeks...so even more patience is needed, lol

MP is the equivalent to a congressperson. and I updated the post to help you find their office. Explain that your husband is away working and that you need to get help from them. Might be ok (they may help).

riding is the same as the area they are responsible for representing. We call them ridings.

I just updated my previous post. It sounds like @KandyK has more information regarding the Refugee end. You may want to connect with them.
Thank you!!! You guys are so helpful!

Also
In regards to my other question since I missed a year does that mean it will delay the application I sent them what they requested updated copy
Of
The schedule A form with the missing year which was just student.
Also I advised them on the birth of our son He was born in February so about 2 and half months after we sent in the application.

oh wow long journey but worth it in the end!!!! :)
Im 2017 March applicant. Still fairly new into the process. Just over 4 months now.

we are April 2016 applicant and still waiting, it can be a very long frustrating journey, with checking the status every day many times per day for so many months

I'm not sure I recommend checking the status every day like I have been doing, it isn't good for morale, but it is hard not to do

I think @legolg is like us. We didn't get the DM letter until a week after we had a landing appointment (which was 2 days after we got our DM letter).

So:
April 26: DM in ECAS and landing letter (within 2 hours of each other)
May 3: DM letter.
May 5: landing.
Thanks profiler,I will just keep my fingers crossed

I think it's time for me to officially resign myself from reading any news. In the span of about 2 hours, the entire western civilisation seems to have devolved to the humans who occupied this area 200 years ago.... So. Much. Bad.

I won't say any more on the matter.
