I had suffered with same issue ( error message for cosigner telephone number and residency declaration ) for June 2017 form .

I had submit both form (July 2016 old form and June 2017 new form ) as CIC suggest to attach new form June 2017 with explanation letter and screen short for the error message.

Intresting.. Did you call CIC about this and they asked you to send both forms? wouldn't it be confusing as one says Not validated and other says "yes" with multiple barcode pages for both? I am surprised if they knew about this problem wouldnt it be a simple fix to correct the forms rather than asking us to mail them multiple forms of the same.

New form IMM 1344 changes around 23 June ( I noticed change this date) may be form change earlier than this date .

I downloaded forms from CIC website on 15th June and filled, got it signed by parents and couriered to Canada so that I can add my documents / Sponsor's signatures and Send it to CPC Missisuaga. I wish that I was proactive enough to track for form updates every day after downloading forms.

I think if CIC keeps on changing forms when people are applying within deadlines then it would become a never ending story. If it was online process then its easy to attach updated forms N number of times, but being paper based application its a hectic process specially when your parents are residing abroad.

So let's see if they ask for sending updated form or reject the application all together just because of this reason.

In my case I do not have any co-signer and except at the bottom of the form I did not notice any other difference in the form. The other difference was Addition of lines near Quebec Declaration as shown in the attached picture. Not sure if the picture attachment is working properly.

I checked one old thread in this forum from 2014 , CIC updated a lot of forms and applicants were worried because of this , it seems everyone sailed through, but again it may depend upon CIC's decision and if the form has a lot of changes and old form is missing the information that is added into the new form. So keeping my fingers crossed with Old form. Otherwise it would be a shame to get this application rejected just because of using 2 weeks old form.

Sure, I will update that information in the Tracker. I am still waiting for Canada Post to deliver that application, I hope package will get delivered tomorrow.
Then I can update tracker, except Date of Acknowledgement from IRCC - (Mail or Ecas change) because that may take some days to get the status reflected online or receiving any e-mail.

Do you need to submit Documents via Post or they sent any link where those documents can get uploaded online or sent via e-mail ? Just trying to understand if remaining process would be online or we need to follow paper trails... I really hate paper based process.

I had two options either send by mail or online. I submitted online on the same day.
