I'm Yemeni who lives in Saudi Arabia. I want to apply for a visitor visa to Canada. I've heard some people saying that Yemenis in Saudi Arabia won't be granted the visa, is that true?

Its not true. If you are proving all the documents according to high commission visa rules. You will definitely approve it. Go through all the documents on cic website and do consult a good immigration lawyer.

It will be difficult to get a TRV given the current situation in Yemen. You will have to show strong ties to Saudi Arabia and that you expect to return, proof of funds and a good reason why you want to visit Canada. Best of luck.
