Hi Guys,
Can someone help me with the below interpretation please:

FAQ | Security
Permanent Resident Card
  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on May 5, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on July 6, 2017.
  3. We started processing your application on July 6, 2017.
  4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on July 11, 2017.

Does this mean my PR Card has been renewed and it is on its way? I have never received any other email from CIC apart from the acknowledgment email I received on July 6

WoW....they issued you a PR card in just 5 days!! and you should receive it in few days in the mail. You are one of the very very rare lucky ppl. You shouldn't be here in this forum.

IRCC tweeted today bragging about reducing the PR Card renewal processing time and it's 2.7X faster now since January 2017. I bombarded them with many tweets explaining why their claim is not true and how they send apps to secondary review that takes more than 6 months in order to fake their KPIs.

One voice isn't going to make a difference. Please take few minutes and join me on twitter
can u share twitter link

  • IRCC received my application on 1st March 2017
  • IRCC started processing my application on 4th May 2017 (After 65 days from receiving the application)
  • IRCC sent my application for a secondary review on 4th May 2017 (Wasn't done in a good faith. Just one day before they hit the 66 days average processing time to not screw their KPIs. So, they can keep lying about the processing time)
  • The Secondary review team sent me a letter to get them an entry/exit record from each country I visited in the last 5 years...and to provide that in 30 days time (mission impossible!!)
  • Just FYI. My case is pretty straight forward. I have been living and working in Canada for the last 3.5 years (since December 2013). I traveled overseas just 1 time (14 days) in 3.5 years.
  • I recently got a job that requires me to travel to the US frequently on short visits. On 13th June I sent them a letter from my employer and a paid travel ticket to expedite my application. They never responded.
  • I called my MP Office and get his office involved in the issue to help dealing with the bureaucratic IRCC. They didn't give a shit.
  • I am currently in Chicago, IL. I tried to apply for a PRTD. They take 15 business days in addition to the application processing time with the embassy. My employer needed me to be in Chicago for 2 days only...not weeks!!
  • I am stuck here in Chicago and don't know what to do!!!
  • Now I am thinking about launching a hashtag on twitter and invite ppl who suffers from IRCC abuse of power to join me for this cyber protest to bring this to the public attention
As per my research you can enter Canada from U.S. On a private vehicle.

They have my passport with the application of the PRTD. Also, you need your landing form with you and I don't have it with me right now....and in order to do that, I have to rent a car and drive it to the borders (4 hours drive) and then take a flight from Windsor, ON to Calgary, AB. This will be my last option to pursue.

Hi
  1. Sent May 9, 2017
  2. processing July 10, 2017
  3. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on July 13, 2017.
I have been to many countries but every country I leave, I take the entry and exit report from them (not for free of course).

If you want your app to be processed fast, let them feel you have nothing to hide by providing them with the reports.
