Hi everyone.

So a couple of weeks back i received two emails, one was medical request for my wife and the second one was for information that my wife will be asked to submit Schedule A in a weeks time. So i received another email today asking for:

1- PCC
2- Schedule A
3- Passport size photos
4- Client Information: Receipt of information from client Family lists or Household Registry.
Please provide the Authorization to Disclose Information form (IMM5536).” This must be
received at this office

Can some one explain what point 4 is? I did submit IMM5536 with the docs, are they asking for it again?

Hello! I'm a May 25th 2k17 applicant and had a medical at IOM islamabad few days back.In my x ray they found some sort of symptoms of tb though the doc said its negligble but since canadian immigration has strict rules regarding tb etc so they might ask for a re-medical later.Hence doc asked me to come for sputum test.
Did anyone else also go thru the same situtaion? And what if my suptum test comes positive? Looking forward to hear from you guys soon. Thanks

P.S: does anyone know about a photographer in Islamabad who is expert in passport sized photos cos my earlier sent photos are rejected by cic. Thanks

What Is back office exactly?

Hi there . I have gone through the same situation.Iapplied on 7 November 2016 but my file reached London visa office in march 2017.So for more than 3 months my file was also in transit ...or held back because of back office.So I guess some files are transfered late and some files are transfered early...Hopefully we all will hear good news soon☺

Many people are in a similar position (including me), not just files going to LVO. Some people are saying that CPC-M is doing some of the work for VOs that are overloaded (more than usual).

I'm an April 13th applicant and my status on ECAS is still "Application Received". I uploaded the requested docs on May 22nd. What's your status on ECAS?

It shows 'in process' and under in process it says 'application received on march 8 and medical results have been received'.

Hello so I couldn't wait I emailed CIC last night and got a reply they said eligibility has passed ! So does that mean that they have passed our relationship Because we just went to Dubai for a trip and I was going to send them pictures and stamp proof in passport do you think I should at this point ? Sorry to hear that. My husband file was transferred last July 3 and received an email from CIC that our file was transferred in London VO. This afternoon our ECAS was shown started processing July 13 ,2017. Did you already submit Medical and PcC?

Hi...yeah I have done upfront medical which expires on 5 sep 2017 and also submitted upfront PcC.

Don't know....it's was written on my gcms notes that sponsor eligibility is passed and file is held for back office.It can be any thing so can't say much about it .

Its nothing to be worried of. every file since September 2016 is being held for back office pilot project. It will be processed normally.

Salam everyone here,

Few quick questions from the experts here. When they say also send us any little detail such as whatsapp chat or fb post people giving congrats . If my whatsapp between myself and wife have some Urdu parts, do I need to translate that too by my own or I should not go in too details since mostly writing is already in English .

Is Whatsapp and FB posts are enough or can we add other social media too ? I am attaching 50 pictures from pre to post wedding.

As per the new checklist (June 2017), you actually do have to translate the chats into English.

Sounds a bit cumbersome but if most of your chat is already in English then you won't have much to do. Also you can add any social media posts that you want!

But if we mention my wife's dad name in the application as a family member of the principal applicant. What if in future my wife wants to sponsor her father.? Won't it be an issue

In cases of permanent residency, "family" is defined only as spouse and dependent children. So when it mentions family members that you might want to sponsor later, it only means spouse or children.

So it won't be an issue. You don't need to mention her father's info at all
