Still "we do not need additional documents". I will wait it out for the week and I can start screaming to the tops by next week if nothing changes.
I'm hoping to have an update today though. I think CIC are stalling on PPR for may AORs

Hey guys
Sorry that I'm throwing in my question which is not really related to this conversation but if someone can help me out with it I would really appreciate cause so far I haven't gotten any response.
After submitting my application for PR, do I have to inform CIC that I went for a long weekend (4 days) to another country to visit a friend?

Just to clarify, I found this information:

I doubt that. Coz I think after IP2 it is just matter of confirmation and triggering mail for PPR. For all the cases I have seen on many forums RPRF comes first followed by IP2. But again CIC knows it's business better. Please check your inbox, spam and other folders.

I dont want to be smart a** here (after reading the notes )but this is a very obvious thing right????. CIC agent checks file and takes 1 hour or less to calculate the CRS score and FSW score using ECA, IELTS ,reference letters and age. I always knew that security takes a lot of time as they have to check all the activities a person was involved since his birth.


Developed countries like USA,Canada, NZ, Australia have huge databases of large number of people. Some of these database can also tell very small things like if a person has some unpaid parking tickets. It takes a lot of time to make sure that person will not be a threat to them in any form.

I learned a lot from CIA and FBI movies and some very good documentaries. Now is the time to show this.

Many of you already knew the information I just shared. But when @KiranK just intelligent bunch of people , I just got a little excited.

P.S: Its good that they are doing it within a month . If we were planning to immigrate to US then... do I need to say anything more???

I see AORs later are getting IP2!!

I am stuck in IP1 as well. AOR 20th of May. Now 15 bleeding days. What I have learnt is no two application progress are the same. it might be similar but not the same. Just relax and kick back. The older the application if you have not misrepresented in any way the safer.

Upload it somewhere, Google drive, anywhere on the net and then share the link, its impossible to share from the PC! I sometimes send it to myself on Facebook and then I can post the link here. But anywhere you post it, whatever doc it might be, remember privacy will be lost forever

I just realised I forgot to mention one trip in Travel history for which I dont even remember the date because I have no stamp for it in my Passport! How do they expect I remember all the trips in last 10 years if I dont have any proof (stamps) of it!!! Darnnn!

Eligibility : Recommend passed
Security : Not started
HIRV:
Criminality : Passed
Org Crime:
Medical : Passed


1. R10 done at CIO Sydney. on 2 June. This is when my IP1 began and medicals passsed. @gurik :I will upload the screenshot from which you will come to know what all things they checked.

2. Criminality passed just on the basis of Indian PCC as I have no travel history. This was done on 7 June at CIO- Sydney

2. Now we all have been speculating that why FSW-O applications are being processed at CPC-Ottawa instead of LVO.

File transferred to Ottawa on 9 june and the reason mentioned is WORKLOAD REDISTRIBUTION . My IP1>NA is 8 june.

3. Eligibility(A11.2) done on 9 June at Ottawa. This happens when I am only 1 day into NA. Will upload a screenshot for this.



Now apart from the above mentioned dates , I dont see anything else. These dates match perfectly with the status changes i.e IP1>NA>IP2.

Since everything is done on 9th June except security. I believe that's the last step.


I hope I have provided all the info requested by @gurik @astralsource . Will upload the screenshots soon.

Please shoot any other questions who have.

Thanks this answers a lot of questions for me. Particularly my extended IP1 state. I have a pretty long travel history. Diverse places as well; Middle East, Europe. Even Bangladesh.

There will be a very long NA in between those 2. And please include the timeline in your signature . We wont be able to help you without that.

Thanks for the encouraging words buddy. I see so many late APRIL folks going into IP2 and I am still stuck in the NA Hole and this NA place is dark and cold and just waiting and waiting.. hahaha

...... Day 94 after AOR and day 30 in NA!

I have extended travel history as well. I think about 10 countries with most occurring multiple and short times. Never stayed in any long enough to require PCC. The extended travel history was always a good thing when chasing tourist visas. I see it isn't a good thing in chasing PPR. How many countries for you?
