Forgive my ignorance here.... but what is the demarcation between "Caribbean" and "Atlantic"?

The Caribbean Sea is located between Mexico and Central America to the west and south west, the Greater Antilles (Cuba, Hispaniola (Haiti and Dominican Republic), Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Cayman Islands) to the north starting with Cuba, the Lesser Antilles ( US and UK Virgin Islands, Anguilla, St. Martin/St. Maarten, Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barts, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Kitts and Nevis, Montserrat, Guadeloupe, Dominica, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Barbados, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, Trinidad & Tobago) to the east and the north coast of South America to the south. The entire area of the Caribbean Sea, the numerous islands of the West Indies, and adjacent coasts, are collectively known as the Caribbean also known as the West Indies (because of Columbus). The Atlantic Ocean hits the Caribbean Sea between the Lesser Antilles and Virgin Islands and between Cuba and Haiti.

But but but... is there features under the sea that demarc it from the Atlantic? Again -- totally ignorant here -- apologies! (I almost took a jerb in Bermuda.. I have had several offers to.... I suppose I should have known this!)

Though, thinking about it, isn't Bermuda off the coast of North Carolina (kinda)?

My only time in the Caribbean sea was in Cartagena, Columbia. That was so hot and humid! That was too much for me!

I work with an Indian, who advised me that the +40*C + humidity days we get here is nothing like his hometown +46.. he keeps a heater running all day long, under his desk. Yikes!

My friend from Cartagena, when she arrived in Canada, she arrived in July and started to feel cold already. By the beginning of September, she started to wear winter clothes! But after a few years, she adapted quite well. She even admitted that she feels it's too hot when she goes back there!

Regarding the card, it's likely produced already. CIC mail takes forever to get out. I remember the letter requesting my wife to provide police certificate and to apply for the CSQ was dated of June 20, 2016, but we got it in the mail only in the beginning of July.

I would like to thank the academy... and my parents -- without them, I probably would just be a small robot or maybe a mole...

I was lucky here... The wife is used to snow and (some) cold. Not Ontario cold, but some cold... So the cold weather is ok... The hot is where this all falls down. 25 here is usually like 29-32. She won't even go outside (lol -- whimps!).

Re Card: yeah...if that time includes the CPC time, then cool. Otherwise, we have a COPR, she can get a PRTD
