Why do they take sooo long to approve some files, very unfair still no update on my file ... Seems like most Nov 2016 Applications have been accepted already.

Congratulations! What was the official processing time when u applied because right now it's 17 months but they took much longer for ur file ? What did u do when they went past the processing time ?

I visited my home country to get married and came back in Canada. Now I am applying for her immigration without any further visit to her. In form 5532 (Part C, Question # 4) I mentioned that we didn't visit each other. I thought they asked that question if we visited each other after marriage. Do you think I should have answered Yes? Please give your feedback considering my situation

Your turn will come too I still feel its the way Application is prepared and complexity of the case which impacts the processing time a lot.. U'll get to hear a good news soon.. Its not too late.. 8 months though long, is average processing time for old package..

I had an interview on 27th june........visa officer told that she will review the file in that week. Is that the thing they say to everyone........What is the chance of refusing application after interview. Will they do it at that instant or later.........really worried

My case was similar. If you didn't visit after marriage u have to say no, but support your answer.. I mentioned that its been only 2 months since I visited her for marriage and due to a full-time job, I cannot frequently take days off from my work. However I'm planning to visit her again in 6 months considering the long distance and travel time required to visit her place. Meanwhile, we will be in contact with each other regularly over phone calls, emails, video calling etc.
Write something like that.. convince the visa officer

I had an interview on June 20 and my application got approved in just 7 minutes. Praise the lord. Don't worry your application will be approved within a week.
