When should i expect ppr,, i got dm this sunday...n whom they will send email i have rep,, but he also signed me up for gc key

October 2016 applicant. I received email from immigration and they said Background check in progress and it needs 4-5 months to process it. That's so unfair.

That's the maximum time they mention in the emails. It might be done within a month. Dont worry!!

For me was super easy. only need COPR and Passport I had list of stuff in my suite case but no one asked for it.

DM both side means ?

If you check your application status on ECAS, there are 2 sides:
1. Sponsorship applications status (For Sponsor)
2. Permanent residence application status (For Principal Applicant)

When Sponsorship is approved, sponsorship application status in ECAS gets changed to Decision made.
When BG check for principal applicant starts in GCKey, usually then, Permanent residence application status in ECAS gets changed to Decision made too...
Thats basically both sides getting DM..
