Hi Profiler,

SA approved
AIP .. no update.
Security check..passed
Medical.... passed
Eligiblity ... passed
almost 25 days before that was my status according to CIC telephone agent..
what you think when I will get AIP or DM
thanks
If they told you that your eligibility was passed (and not online.. I mean a real person), then you have AIP. AIP is when you pass eligibility. If you didn't talk to a person, try calling to ask.

If you do have AIP, you either are in the QA interview lottery (they do this just before landing), or they are waiting on a la ding interview time (Etobicoke, MTL, or Vancouver are usually longer waits for this).

If you don't have AIP, they might have you queued up for an interview. If this is the case, same scheduling times as above apply.

In terms of timing, I can't guess. I am not sure where you are.

You may want to call CIC. I bet they are either looking to see if they want a QA interview, or the landing site might be busy. In our case, Kitchener wasn't busy, and they sent an email pretty much right away to fit us in. But my wife's status in MyCIC and ECAS remained the same until after landing.
Thanks profiler. I residing in Winnipeg i don't think it's busy here except for refugee's influx. Still waiting, it's been 13 months.

The only letter I received was the refusal letter.

The MP wasn't there when my husband and I went. We spoke to his people in the office and that's what they told us. And I went the day after it was suggested.

I submitted:
Lease agreement
Joint bank account
An old car insurance with my name on it
And letters we receive at the address

13.5 is when we landed. So it's not too bad. Should be any day now...

Winnipeg is ground zero... They seem to like Emerson...

You need to speak directly to the MP. They liked to you. CIC is obligated to send procedural fairness letters after demand letters for more proof aren't answered. So the process broke. And this is exactly what MPs are for.

In terms of proofs. If that's all you sent, then ya you definately didn't have enough.

We submitted:
- Ontario marriage certificate (long and short form)
- 75 pictures of us, my family and my in-laws all together, etc.
- Her translated labour book
- Her translated degree and transcript
- Her translated and Canadian ambassador-certified birth certificate
- 4 letters; 2 notarized from my family
- A cell phone account profile from Telus
- Our ON DLs
- All mailings she'd received in Canada
- Declaration of Severance of Common-Law Relationship (me from my ex, whom we have a son).

from saskatoon,
i talked to parson and they told above,
Right! I have trouble with remembery ;)

Ok, you just need to wait for CIC-Saskatoon to do a final case review I bet, and send a DM and landing invite... Maybe 6 weeks? Just a guess..

QA is a whole case interview. So that's possible... But should be too much longer..

Sounds light in evidence still. A couple letters is usually enough. Statutory Declarations are stronger evidence than letters, because they are equivalent to court testimony under oath.

But in any regard, the MP needs to do their job.

I am reapplying at the end of the month, so I get two statutory declarations and 8 letters.

Which MP is it? I can locate his email, and you can try to get help via email. Make sure to mention his office staff didn't help you, and that CIC did not make a request for more proofs that you received.

My MP is Hon. Kerry Diotte. The email on his website is the one his employees uses (isn't it?). So they would reply and tell me the same thing they told me in the office.

The website email, and Parliamentarian email addresses with .C# (.C1, .C2, etc) are the office staff. On this link you will find his email:
https://www.ourcommons.ca/Parliamentarians/en/members/Kerry-Diotte(89150)

That will go straight to him.

You may want to have your sponsor turn the pressure up on him. That's their job: to help citizens and residents of Canada who have trouble with federal institutions...

If he's not going to do his job, maybe it's time to retire?
