Funny, but that's exactly how it happens. Once you're there, you tend to forget the wait ;)

so true!
This forum has been a tremendous help. Just knowing others are in the same waiting and holding period as we are makes such a difference, as does all the knowledge I have learned from all of you. Wish I had found this place sooner :)

Hopefully you will also get good news soon :)
I'm a week after you and it seems to be going like that also! Last update was that I passed the meds.

Nicaragua

So, he'd need a visitor visa either way.

if he applies inland, and supply the OWP package too, he'd have implied status until they decide.

It would be 12 months either way, but inland, he'd be able to start his life here, and you can be together...

Just a thought

I just checked my ECAS and on sponsorship side and applicant side is "Decision made" :) But I didn't get any email....and I checked MyCIC and nothing changed there, they are still reviewing my eligibility....Maybe next week I'll get something in email?
Like I mentioned somewhere that once you are under eligibility check and everything else is done, it takes average 2 days now to get a decision, Congrats..!!

Hi Profiler,

SA approved
AIP .. no update.
Security check..passed
Medical.... passed
Eligiblity ... passed
almost 25 days before that was my status according to CIC telephone agent..
what you think when I will get AIP or DM
thanks

Thank you @sylvain1. I went to the MP office. They said they will request the file, however they can not get them to reconsider. So I guess I will have to reapply. I got the letter and it states that in my case not enough evidence was provided.
I am reapplying with 10 letters from friends and family. Do you think that's enough?
Now I would like to get some positive news from @Gloria217 as well. That's the other very worrying case. Then of course, I hope that @browning911 and @legolg will have some good news soon although in their case, it's just a matter of time, there is no reason to worry.

Landing Interviews are simple. They ask:
- have you been denied entry to Canada or anywhere else
- do you have any dependents not listed on your application in Canada or anywhere else
- have you ever committed a crime in Canada or anywhere else

I find this unacceptable. Did they request additional evidence from you? Did you get a procedural fairness letter that you did not act on?

What MP was it?

What proofs did you supply with the first application?
