That i understand, so i would figure some applicants from certain countried are more high profile cases than others, and may be treated accordingly. But if you have a little man or woman , hail fròm the hills of blue mountain in a small country like jamaica, maybe spent most of his/her life in school n raising a family. . . TBH, you're considered low priority because of what I said. You're low risk, in a safe place. They are not coming to the door to talk to, or deport you. To them, they will get to the case when they have some time, and they will finish it up. Totally get that you want to move on with your life, but you can probably safely assume that you won't have an issue, and it's just time. Many, many, many Jamaican's have come before you, and will after you (crazy, crazy kids -- who would want to live in a snow globe!).
I know it's nerve wracking, but it's not because they are giving you extra scrutiny... they just haven't gotten to you yet!
