Difference is 15 points and I am thinking they have not consider canadian education in over all score but individually they counted, no change in profile I made or no change in age...........any idea?
really strange when did u receive your nomination and 600 points in your profile??

i am afraid i may have reached to 300 not sure though
How did you get time to write 300 words ? :D . I believe, you have done good practice. But mark will be considered only for

Coherence and Cohesion
Lexical Resource
Grammatical Range
Accuracy

I don't think for word limit. Hope you will get good score. All the pretty best for you Mate!

But they may think my score was below 400 while OINP did processing........actually it was not..........Do they?
If OINP did their nomination, I guess it doesn't matter right now how it was before.
OINP sent you NOI, you sent them your documents, they made their assessment, and gave you your nomination.
Now you have your nomination and your current score will get you an ITA.
If you didn't change anything, then you're Ok.
Now, if you changed something and now you have in your EE a different information than the one you gave to OINP, then it may bring you problems I guess. Because it may be seen as misrepresentation. Please check in detail, and be sure everything is correct.
If it is, don't worry. Enjoy you ITA in the next draw.

You said less than 410, you weren't specific that's why I asked. ;) As I see on you profile page you are sitting at 408, same as me! Can't wait for an ITA!
Didn't wish to type 409 (since I am at 408, like you). There is a saying, "be careful what you wish for", hence was being careful.
The next draw is not the end of the world, and we must be pretty happy sitting at 408. We will run for the post-ITA process together, hand in hand and finally meet up in Yukon to witness the Northern Lights, together!!

Writing 300+ words won't be seen negatively....if you've done well with those 300 words ,you are sure to score well...
even I had done 300+ and got 7.5 despite pathetic (almost non legible ) handwriting...I hadn't wrote anything for close to 10 years with pen (except occasional form fillings as part of daily life..) and all I did was 2-3 days and 10 odd practice essays...I was horribly disappointed at the end of my writing session looking at my paper...and was hoping to score less than 5...
I got 7.5 only because of writing enough and bit extra...
I got 8.5 for other 3 sections and overall 8.5 too by God's grace...:p
same here buddy, even my handwriting is like 3rd degree torture to reader however, i got 7 in earlier ILETS lets see how it goes this time, expecting for the CLB 9 btw u managed to get very good score it seems as if english is your first language

Well we already wished for Canada, so now it's time for the process to begin and as I mentioned earlier in my posts I know the saying and it will really come true when we are sitting in the middle of Canada's winter! :D

you can go upto 315 also..but people usually avoid doind that as the more we write, more are the chances to make mistakes.
but for me if my points are not covered in particular word limit i will definetly write more words.
best of lucl for the results..hope u get good scores.
Can u message me the topic u got for both task one and task two.
first of all thanks, you have a point i believe i haven't made more mistakes and my content was good, though with horrible handwriting but i believe my topic demanded more words and my topic was

my 1st one was weird, u hv visited a company on your business trip and u liked one machine that may help you in ur day to day business now write a letter to a person asking about that machine blah blah blah one of the worse letter topic i have ever read,

essay goes something like this,,,, some people earn money to spend more and live comfortable life while others for future life discuss

i think its high time now to get an score distribution list from CIC...
I was hoping for that too, but the trend has been every 2 weeks. We might have a draw and the distribution together, tomorrow. This thread managed to buzz past 120 pages, unusual if you compare with the previous Ray of Hope Threads.

I won't be grumpy, so I'll answer.
Maybe you had a birthday.

But, even so, you now have 987, so you'll get an ITA, why does it matter if you get it at 1002 CRS or at 987 CRS?
Don't be shallow man. :p
totally agree,, 987 is still way too much you can take atleast 10 members of this discussion group with you if you equally divide it amongst them,, however if at all you choose to do that pick me ;-p

I am in a catch-22 situation. I recently received my employer reference letter, but it misses a lot of information and isn't as prescribed (and required) by CIC. I cannot tell my employer that I'm applying for PR, and they will not let me quit my job. If I resign, the organization will cripple, and I feel that I, sort of, have a moral obligation not to quit. In short, I am a Government servant and the Department relies on me.

I ought to get another reference letter, in the right format, but how? My plan was to just disappear after I receive the COPR.
