Hi did u check ur ECAS ..if hey have sent a correspondence req it should show there .. ususally they ask pcc along with the schedule A req .. did u get that req .. ?.. also after the file transfer email it can take upto 15-20 days to see the "in process" status in ecas . its been a month since my application in process but i havent got the medical req yet .... singapoore vo seems to be really slow -_-

You will get the interview request before June 10th after that medical request. Don't worry your time line is pretty good.

Yaa.. i check my ECAS, it's showing my status "application received" since March -_- and the details are that they received my application in which date. Thats it! I didn't find anything new. They just mailed me to link my application with myCIC. Still they didn't ask for any documents.

Mmm .. i think its best to call cic or submit a webform enquiry to make sure whats happening ...

UPDATE : just received a reply from ircc as i submitted a enquiry to si gapiire vo ..nd they informed me that our application is in queue for an interview ..
Now um soo scared for that .. pray for us ..

There is still no update on my application... The last time I checked it it was still in Missasauga... I don't know what is happening.

I asked our MP here to help me to follow-up the application but since I sent our Schedule A through the webform the only thing we have to do is to wait... The agent who talked to the MP told her that there's a back log on applications...

I am just panicky because It's been three months since I submitted my husband's application...

To those people who sent the Schedule A through mail, What mailing address did you sent your schedule A? And what did you include with it?

Now um soo scared for that .. pray for us ..

You can't really ask for an MP to step in when you're still well within normal processing times, unfortunately. They seem to be most effective when an application has surpassed application processing times.

We sent our Schedule A to

Required Documents CPC Mississauga/CTD Mississauga PO Box 6100, Station A Mississauga L5A4H4

We included Schedule A and our lawyers wrote a cover letter. They added it to our file 2 days after they got it.

I did not use any online way of submitting anything (police check, prints, Sched A) because with mail I paid for tracking and signage, that way I knew it would get there as a hard copy.

As for Mississauga - assuming with your timeline you used the new application package -they are keeping files in CPC Miss longer now. It used to be after Sponsorship Approval they would transfer to VO but this is no longer the case. CPC Miss is doing some of the processing/file review before it gets sent to the VO so it can lighten some workload on their end.

Yayyyyy!! Got an interview call yesterday morning, now I just checked they sent me medical request as well.

Yes I'm PA. I got an email few days back. They schedule an interview on June 20. My file received on Feb 20. Yes most of the Feb applicants are getting their interview request. Good luck

I agree with this. Ralph Goodale is our MP and a friend of ours eventually had his office work on their application but that was because it was an outland application that had already been past the 24 month mark in terms of processing. Albeit, the process started to speed up after he had got involved but he didn't get involved until it had been absurdly long.

The primary applicant is from Philippines. Yes we did the new kit because we didn't make it through the deadline of the old kit.

We aubmitted the upfront medical together with kit. There were just no updates yet if they received the Sched A or not.

Maybe we should sent it through mail too. I think it is more effective than thr electronic one. Since, there's a back log on the system.

Our MP told us to wait until the end of June and she will call again if there is no change. It helped me to feel a little bit better. Since, they spoke to them. They just told us that we did everything and we just have to wait.

So yeah... Patience is key.

I applied for spouse visa in March 2017, passed the medical exam in April 2017 , but till now I have not received any request to submit background schedule A form and online status says "your application is in progress and the next step is to conduct a background check" not sure what's going on

Congrats! at least u know that u r in queue. And don't worry you will do good Finally they request me for PCC and Schedule A. Now I have few questions. How did you upload your PCC? Did u submit your Schedule A online or mail? If online then how did you give your signature?

I got an email last week requesting further proof that my wife (sponsor) will be accompanying me to Canada.

"In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

• Client Information: Please provide additional proof that you intend to reside in Canada. This includes but is not limited to copies of correspondence with: potential employers, real estate companies, property rental agencies, health care agencies, insurance agencies, financial institutions, etc. Please provide as many indicators as possible as any single one of these may not be enough on its own to prove intent of residency.

The above information/documents must be received in our office within 45 days from the date of this letter."​

With my application I sent a letter from her Father who indicated his support etc, but that wasn't enough.
I uploaded further proof this morning to my cic including

• Contact with multiple estate agents renting out our current property
• Contact with a real estate agent in Canada
• Shipping quotes
• Contact with employers for both of us
• Flight confirmation for trip in july for interviews/real estate
