I'm in London but had my application sent to Ottawa. I guess the workload is being shared between the VO's, it had taken so long to get AOR2 I thought it was sitting in London all this time :( I suppose it will stay in Ottawa, I hope we don't have to send passports to Ottawa when PPR comes...

Nope, just the auto response. In this case I feel no news is good news. The transfer is VO specific, London for example require medical and documents before AOR2. I have seen some here from other VO's receive AOR2 before medical.

In your boat. It all depends on the visa office as to whether you receive AOR2 at all. I have read here that London doesn't send AOR2 and the ecas 'In Progress' status may be the only indication it is at the visa office.
