Hello everyone. I applied for my mother on April 11 2017 online via WWICS. As per the trend I am seeing, applications are speeding up specially for March and April applicants. I have no idea why is mine taking this long. Is there a way I can call CIC to provide me an update myself?

Submitted additional document: March 7, 2017

Got visa : 23/3/2017

Today I got status update for my mother-in-law that passport has been dispatched. I do not understand it is a rejection or visa? There is no update in between these, nothing about Medical passed or decision made. did anybody knows about such update?

Also on side note, my parents application has no updates as of now.

Any help is appreciated.

So based on what you mentioned, it was a paper application, right?

Three possibilities:
1) Application was returned as it was not complete or fees wasn't paid?
2) Application was processed and approved (highly unlikely, but could depend on which VO you sent it to).
3) Application was processed and refused (highly unlikely, but could depend on which VO you sent it to).

1 seems most likely, but you should be able to reapply.

Did the progress say "We are processing the application", before the passport was returned?

When I try to link my parents paper super visa application here. it says no record found.
Could anyone please tell what to select in Category and sub category for Super visa while we link application on cic above link?
